Superprof Registration Triggered a Playweez Subscription

July 27, 2025 1:50 AM19

On July 27, 2025, I created an account on Superprof with the purpose of teaching and solving questions. However, during this process, I suddenly received an SMS stating that I had been subscribed to a service called Playweez. When I sent an SMS to 3699 with the message “iptal playweez” to cancel it, ₺50 was charged from my mobile bill.

In addition, I noticed two more deductions on my phone bill — one for ₺80 and another for ₺33, both linked to the 3699 number and made at the exact same time. I never approved or signed up for any subscription.

I will file a formal complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency and pursue this matter legally. I expect a prompt response and refund of all unauthorized charges.

Furthermore, I am currently trying to delete my Superprof account, but the platform does not allow it. Although Google search results claim there is an account deletion option in the “My Account” section, it does not actually work.
