About two months ago, after Superonline carried out fiber infrastructure work on 4246 Street in Şirinkent Neighborhood, Urla/İzmir, the road that was excavated was poorly resurfaced by the subcontractor. The material used for the asphalt has started to scatter into loose gravel, and the trench has gradually turned into a pothole, polluting both the road and the surrounding area. This situation not only causes environmental pollution but also damages vehicles. Since I couldn’t find any proper channel to report this infrastructure issue, which is unrelated to Superonline’s products and services, I wanted to share it here. I request that the authorities properly repair the road and ensure both environmental and traffic safety.

After the work carried out by Superonline’s subcontractor on 4246 Street in Şirinkent Neighborhood, Urla, İzmir, our road was left damaged. This situation has been ongoing for more than three weeks and no repairs have been made. I have reported my complaint before; Superonline officials called me and promised that the problem would be resolved, but no action was taken and no information was provided. Customer service stated that they only deal with their own customers.

I no longer want to be called, because the promises made before were not kept. I request that our road be repaired as soon as possible and that our grievance be resolved.

During the time that has passed, no one has come and taken any action. After the fiber line was installed, our asphalt was left unfinished. We are waiting for the asphalt to be renewed as soon as possible. I have decided to report the issue to the Urla Municipality's public works department and the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality as well.

How indifferent can a corporate company be? Superonline called me in response to my complaint, promised to resolve the issue with their subcontractors, but did absolutely nothing, not even providing any information. Then why do you make promises in the first place? Let me answer my own question. These companies have performance targets related to responding to complaints. By calling me immediately, they closed the complaint and achieved their customer complaint response targets. They will applaud this as a call center success in their internal presentations. Let them come and do a VoC and ask us as well. I will write about this in my book and expose it to everyone.

My complaint has been ignored for months. The problem keeps getting bigger. I also reported it to the Urla municipality, and got no response from them either. Unfortunately, I can't say the work you do is good—the asphalt was laid by the Urla Municipality and you ruined it. And a few months ago, when I called, you actually responded to the complaint—well done, you showed management how cute your performance looks by replying quickly. Yet you did nothing physical to solve the problem. In the book I'm writing, titled "How the Big Kids in the Business World Play Games," I will cite these writings as examples and explain how a message is sent to the management. Perhaps this way, or in my seminars, I will have the chance to tell them directly. I have held those positions myself, so I understand very well how the system fails.
