SunExpress Gave Me the Runaround—Lost 4 Tickets Due to a Minor Name Error

On February 23, 2025, at 08:50, I had a flight from İzmir with SunExpress for myself and my three children. While checking in, I noticed that I had mistakenly entered the wrong last name for one of my children. I immediately asked an airline representative for help, but instead of assisting, they redirected me to customer service, which then told me they couldn’t help because I had booked the ticket through a third-party app.

They gave me another number, which then led me to yet another number, and for over an hour, I was passed from one call center to another. By the time my flight was about to depart, I desperately asked if there was any other solution, but instead of helping, the staff spoke rudely.

I then tried to purchase a new ticket, but they told me it was too late and I couldn’t rebook. As a result, all four of my tickets were lost, and I was forced to wait 12 hours for the next flight at 22:25. I had to buy four new tickets, and when I later spoke with an airport police officer, he said that the airline could have easily resolved the issue by simply guiding me to the right desk.

SunExpress, I demand a refund for my lost tickets! I should not have been forced to spend extra money and waste my time due to poor service and unhelpful staff. This must be resolved immediately!
