Poor Business, Practice And Misrepresentation

I have been a Storyreel subscriber under the name GaVonne P*** and the email address kyvo***@comcast.net, and I am writing due to an issue with a misleading promotion and an incorrect charge. My subscription renewed on October 16th for $19.99. This amount was higher than I was comfortable paying on a weekly basis, so I planned to cancel the subscription. When I went into the mobile app to cancel, I was shown a promotional offer of $9.99 for an additional week if I chose to keep my subscription and renew on October 23rd. Relying on this offer, I did not cancel, because I understood that the next renewal on October 23rd would be at the discounted rate of $9.99. However, when my plan renewed today, October 23rd, I was charged $19.99 again instead of the promised $9.99. I contacted customer service through the mobile app and explained that I had been offered a $9.99 promo if I did not cancel my subscription. The agent repeatedly told me that the $9.99 was only for the first week and that $19.99 would be charged every week afterward, and did not acknowledge the specific promo I was shown when trying to cancel. During this conversation, the agent then canceled my subscription without my consent and stated that I would receive a refund of $19.99. In this situation, I feel that I was misled by the in-app promotion and that my subscription was canceled against my wishes. I request that you honor the $9.99 promotional rate that was offered to me, refund the $10 difference that should not have been charged on my latest renewal, and reactivate my account for the remainder of the promotional week at the agreed $9.99 rate. I am attaching screenshots of the $19.99 charges from October 16th and October 23rd to support my request. I kindly ask you to review this situation, correct the billing, and reactivate my subscription according to the promotion I was shown.
