I Face SteelSeries Support Issues After Being Denied A Paid Microphone Repair
My SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X wireless Xbox headset microphone stopped working due to an issue entirely caused by user error. Since I understand that this problem is not covered under warranty, my goal from the beginning was to have the headset repaired through a paid service option or, if possible, purchase only the replacement microphone part. The headset’s other functions work perfectly, and I do not want to throw away an otherwise functional product simply because of a microphone failure.
On July 23, 2026, at 3:03 PM, I contacted Despec Turkey, the authorized service provider, via email. On the same day at 3:32 PM, I received a response stating that “the part cannot be supplied separately.” Before this, I had also contacted them by phone and learned that repair services were not available. As shown in the email screenshots attached to my complaint, both Teklos and Despec clearly stated that the microphone cannot be provided separately.
Even though I am willing to pay for the service, neither a paid repair option nor a replacement microphone part is being offered in any way. I cannot accept that I am left with no option other than throwing away a headset that is less than one year old and otherwise works properly.
I request that SteelSeries provide a solution regarding paid repair services or the sale of replacement microphone parts. At the very least, I expect assistance with obtaining the necessary replacement part instead of being forced to discard a working product.
