I booked a hotel through Stayforlong (Reservation #SH22677523) after comparing prices on TripAdvisor. Their site showed a significantly lower price—₺13,000 cheaper—for Granada Luxury Belek, so I made the reservation and paid in full.
However, when I called the hotel to confirm, they asked if I was a domestic or international guest. When I said I was a domestic traveler, they told me that I wouldn’t be allowed to stay at that rate unless I was traveling with an international guest!
I immediately contacted Stayforlong multiple times via email, but they never responded. When I tried to cancel the booking, they refused to refund my ₺2850. If I hadn’t called the hotel, I would have arrived only to be turned away.
This is completely unacceptable! Stayforlong must refund my money immediately and stop misleading customers with undisclosed restrictions. I am taking legal action against both the hotel and the booking site. Do not book through this platform!
