On March 3, 2026, I made a hotel reservation for DoubleTree by Hilton Topkapı through Stayforlong, after being redirected from Trivago. At the end of the transaction, $80 was charged from my Yapı Kredi debit card.
However, despite the payment being taken, no reservation appeared in my Stayforlong account. When I called the hotel directly, they also confirmed that there was no reservation under my name or for those dates in their system. In other words, even though money was charged from my card, there is no reservation on either Stayforlong’s system or the hotel’s system.
So far, I have not contacted my bank or Stayforlong, and no refund process has been started. Even though about two days have passed, there is still no reservation and no refund.
I request that the $80 charged to my card be refunded in full to the same card as soon as possible, without any deductions.
