Starbucks at Istanbul Airport Refused Simple Request for Hot Water and Was Rude
I am writing about an unpleasant experience I had at the Starbucks in Istanbul Airport’s domestic terminal on November 9, at 5:30 a.m. After making several purchases and sitting down, I politely asked for some hot water to take my medicine. To my surprise, my simple request was rudely denied by a staff member named Y****. His attitude was dismissive and unfriendly, which is unacceptable, especially in the service industry. I expect much better customer care from Starbucks and hope that they address this behavior so that customers are treated with respect in the future.
