• Starbucks policy says that customers with a registered Starbucks Card or the Starbucks app can get free refills on brewed coffee (hot, iced, or cold brew) and tea (hot or iced) during the same visit at Starbucks stores owned by the company. For about 50 cents, customers who don't have a registered account can buy a refill.

• Starbucks stores that are run by franchisees can choose not to follow the official refill policy or change it to fit their needs. They still have the power to decide if they will offer refills for free or charge for them, or if they will set clear rules for which drinks can be refilled.

The "Starbucks Coffee Company" logo lets you know that the store is owned by the company.
You can use the Starbucks website or app to narrow down the list of stores by selecting "Starbucks operated."
You can also ask the barista about the store's refill policy.
