Stanley Thermos Exploded Twice

I recently purchased a Stanley thermos and used it to store green tea, but to my shock, the thermos exploded twice for no apparent reason. During one of the explosions, the lid flew off and hit my chin, causing an injury. Additionally, despite only being dropped once, the thermos sustained visible damage as if it were a cheap product, which was very disappointing given the brand's reputation.
I can't believe these thermoses are so fragile. Is it really my fault that it got damaged after a single drop? Why is this considered outside the warranty coverage? I’m requesting a resolution to my issue—this product should not be this unreliable or dangerous to use.
