Stanley Thermos Claimed to Have Lifetime Warranty, Broke After a Small Drop

I bought a Stanley thermos because it was advertised with a lifetime warranty. It fell from just half a meter and broke. Forget the warranty; they don't even sell the replacement part, not even for money. This is an unethical sales tactic: lure customers in with a "lifetime warranty," have the most fragile part break with the slightest impact, and then offer no warranty or replacement parts. Shameful.
