Broken Stanley Quick Flip Thermos Lid & Lifetime Warranty Refusal

I purchased a Stanley Quick Flip stainless steel thermos approximately 5-6 months ago. Unfortunately, the thermos lid broke, and I reached out to Stanley's customer service for assistance. They directed me to their "Polar Bear" support team, which specializes in handling warranty claims.
To my dismay, the Polar Bear team informed me that the broken lid was a result of user error and that they were unable to offer any assistance or replacement under the thermos's lifetime warranty. They suggested that I purchase a new lid at my own expense.
I was utterly baffled by this response. The thermos is advertised as having a lifetime warranty, which should cover any defects or malfunctions, including a broken lid. I expressed my disappointment and requested clarification on the warranty terms.
Unfortunately, the Polar Bear team remained adamant in their stance, refusing to provide any further assistance or explanation for their decision. I felt helpless and frustrated, left with a broken thermos and no recourse under the supposed lifetime warranty.
I am appealing to the broader community to share their experiences with similar issues involving Stanley products and their warranty claims.
My complaint, which has been on air since April 24, 2024, has still not received a response from the Stanley distributor. They did not provide the broken lid even for a fee. I do not understand what kind of warranty this is. I bought the thermos 6 months ago. But there is no such thing as a warranty. I wish I had bought the Contigo brand. I regret buying Stanley a thousand times.
