Stanley Recalled My Thermos but the Refund Does Not Cover a Replacement
I bought a Stanley thermos on Amazon in December 2022. I've just found out that the brand is recalling thermoses because of safety issues and is providing refunds for the original purchase price. Unfortunately, that refund amount is not enough for me to purchase a new Stanley thermos lid today, and I still need to replace my thermos. Is this your approach to handling safety concerns—by putting customers in a tough spot? If a security issue arises with the product, the company ought to provide a new, safe thermos or offer a refund that matches the current price of a similar replacement. This method seems unfair, and I sincerely hope Stanley takes a moment to rethink their approach in these situations to better assist their customers.
