The Stanley 2qt Classic Vacuum Bottle in Black (EU version) was sold to us with the claim that it keeps hot and cold beverages hot or cold for up to 45 hours. This information was provided to us both at the time of purchase at the Evidea Eryaman store and in the product description on Stanley’s official website.
We have used the product twice so far. On one occasion, we filled it completely with hot tea, tightly sealed the lid, and brought it with us on a trip from Ankara to Antalya. When we arrived in Antalya and opened the thermos, we found that the tea inside was only lukewarm and not drinkable. We clearly experienced that the product did not maintain heat for the promised duration.
We purchased the product on December 1, 2025, from the Evidea Eryaman store. After experiencing this issue, we contacted the store and were told that we could either bring the product back to them or create a service request ourselves and send it in. On February 16, 2026, we opened a service request and sent the thermos directly to the company. On February 20, 2026, we received an email stating that there was no issue with the product and that it would be returned to us with shipping costs charged to the recipient.
Despite personally testing the product under real-life conditions, we believe it does not deliver the performance that was advertised and emphasized at the time of sale. Stanley’s response stating that there is no issue, without offering any solution, has made us feel that the company is not standing behind its product.
Because the product does not meet the promised heat-retention time, we are requesting a full refund from Stanley.
