Squarespace Charged My Bank Account Without Authorization

I have never used Squarespace and had never even heard of the website before. However, on May 9, 2026, at 5:12 p.m., Squarespace made an unauthorized withdrawal of approximately $9 from my account at Yapı Kredi Bank. I do not have any membership, subscription, or approved payment associated with Squarespace.

As soon as I noticed the transaction, I contacted my bank, Yapı Kredi, and filed a dispute regarding the charge. However, because the process is still very recent, I have not yet been provided with a case or tracking number. Since I have no idea which account or payment channel was used to make this withdrawal, I have serious concerns about the security of my financial information.

I request that the approximately $9 charged by Squarespace without my authorization be refunded to my account immediately. I also request that whichever account or membership was used to make this transaction be identified and closed, and that all necessary security measures be taken to prevent any similar unauthorized transactions from occurring again.
