Yesterday, I subscribed to a Spotify membership expecting to benefit from the advertised 2-month free trial. However, despite the promotion clearly stating that the first two months are free, my account was charged immediately.
When I received the payment confirmation message, I noticed confusing wording suggesting that the first two months would be ₺59.90 and the following months would continue at ₺59.90. I assumed this was a messaging error and proceeded with the subscription, trusting the initial free trial promise.
Unfortunately, I was wrong. I have since tried to reach Spotify’s support through all available channels, but I have not been able to get a clear answer or any assistance regarding the incorrect charge.
This unexpected deduction has caused financial inconvenience and disappointment, as I subscribed under the belief that I would not be charged for the first two months.
I explicitly request a full refund of the amount charged and clarification on the misleading promotional wording. I also request that Spotify honor the 2-month free trial period as initially advertised.
