Serious Safety Hazard Complaint – Spigen Quick Charge 3.0 Charger

I am writing to report a very serious safety incident I experienced with a Spigen dual-port Quick Charge 3.0 charger that I purchased from an online store in Turkey approximately 3–4 years ago. On 19 January 2026, when I plugged this charger into a wall socket at home, it caught fire within a short time and caused the circuit breakers to trip. Luckily, someone was at home and intervened immediately. If nobody had been there, this situation could easily have turned into a major house fire, putting both lives and property at serious risk. The wall socket was also damaged, and I had to replace it, which caused an additional financial burden for me. Even though the product is out of warranty, I find it completely unacceptable that a charger can create such a serious safety risk. Electrical products should never fail in a way that can endanger users’ lives and damage their homes. I contacted Spigen Turkey about this incident on the same day, but they refused to inspect the product and did not offer any serious solution. Instead, they stated that they would only give a 10 USD voucher if I gave them a 5-star evaluation on Sikayetvar.com, and that otherwise they would not provide anything. My house could have burned down, and we could have lost our lives because of this charger, and in return, I am faced with a conditional voucher offer connected to a high rating, which I find extremely irresponsible and far from a customer-oriented and safety-oriented approach. I formally request that this incident be taken seriously, that a thorough technical investigation be carried out on this charger by Spigen, and, if necessary, that similar products be checked via the serial or batch information in order to prevent possible risks for other users. I also request that my financial loss due to the damaged wall socket be taken into account and that I receive a clear, written, and prompt response regarding the outcome of this process. For communication and verification regarding this complaint. I expect this dangerous situation to be handled with the seriousness it deserves, and look forward to an urgent response.
