Soyo Put Users at Risk of Scams and Sextortion

On these platforms, people first build trust through friendship and emotional closeness, then move on to asking for gifts, and eventually request phone numbers. After a phone number is shared, inappropriate photos and videos may be sent, which can escalate into serious crimes such as blackmail and extortion. I went through a very difficult experience like this in the past, and I do not even want to remember the details. The situation escalated to the point of involving the prosecutor’s office and the police, and these kinds of incidents cause severe psychological and social harm to victims. I believe there are individuals on these dating and chat platforms who target people, including minors, and I believe this issue should no longer be ignored. For this reason, I demand that dating and video chat websites and apps be strictly regulated, and if necessary, completely banned, and that urgent legal and administrative measures be taken to protect minors in particular. I want the appropriate authorities to take stronger action to protect people who are driven into emotional distress and threatened with blackmail and deception.
