Southwind Airlines Left My Luggage in Jeddah on June 17, 2025 Cidde–Çanakkale Flight

On June 17, 2025, I traveled with Southwind Airlines from Jeddah (Cidde) Airport to Çanakkale Airport. The scheduled departure was 23:40, but the flight departed at 01:02 after a delay. Despite this delay, our luggage was not loaded onto the plane. We only discovered this upon arrival in Çanakkale, where we waited around the baggage carousel for nearly two hours, only to be informed at the very end by airport staff that our suitcases had been left behind in Jeddah. This situation has caused both practical and emotional hardship. Our luggage contains food items that are at risk of spoiling in the extreme heat, as well as gifts purchased for our family and children, leaving us not only financially but also emotionally distressed. The lack of proper communication and assistance from both Southwind Airlines and the Çanakkale Provincial Mufti’s Office of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, which organized our Hajj trip, has added to the frustration. I urgently request that our luggage be delivered to us without further delay and that the airline take full responsibility for this unacceptable negligence.
