PS5 Slim Sudden Shutdown Problem Since Purchase
I purchased my Sony PlayStation 5 Slim from Teknosa in October 2025 for approximately $586. Since the day I purchased it, the console has had a problem where it suddenly shuts down on its own while I am playing games. The problem occurs every time I try to play, and I am unable to use the device properly.
When I took the console to an authorized service center, I was told that it was considered a “smuggled/unauthorized product” and that they could only repair it for a fee. However, I purchased the console directly from a Teknosa store with a valid invoice, and I still have the original purchase invoice. Despite this, having the product treated as an unauthorized or non-warranty device and being asked to pay for the repair has caused me significant inconvenience and seriously undermined my confidence in the product and service process.
I request that Teknosa recognize my PlayStation 5 Slim as a legitimately purchased, invoiced product and protect my warranty rights rather than treating it as an unauthorized product. Since the shutdown problem has existed since the day of purchase and continues to occur, I request that the defective console be replaced with a brand-new unit of the same model. I kindly request that my complaint be investigated urgently and that an appropriate resolution be provided as soon as possible.
