In March 2023, I purchased a PlayStation 5 from Germany. After just a few uses, it suddenly shut down one evening and has not powered on since. The warranty is still valid, but Sony Europe has informed us that products purchased there do not have warranty coverage here. With some hesitation, we ended up paying nearly the same amount as a PlayStation to have it sent to an authorized service center. Now they're claiming it cannot be fixed. We're feeling very frustrated.
