I bought a ticket with reservation code WM8BDF through Skyscanner, which took me to the Turkish Airlines website. It was about 3:00 in the morning. Oops, I accidentally picked January 11, 2024, as the departure date instead of January 12, 2024.
Also, they mentioned that the ticket couldn't be changed or refunded. I reached out to Turkish Airlines customer service to ask about canceling, getting a refund, or changing my flight to a different date, but they refused my request. When I contacted Skyscanner, I got the same reply. I reached out to my bank, Kuveyt Türk, to cancel the pending transaction, but they declined my request as well.
I'm really frustrated with Turkish Airlines, Skyscanner, and Kuveyt Türk Bank for not helping me out. Now I've got two tickets to Ankara, one for Thursday and one for Friday. I need to travel on Thursday, come back by bus, and then travel again on Friday. If I could just pass it on to someone who could benefit from it, but that seems impossible.
