Skyscanner Ticket Troubles - My Ankara to Belgrade Flight Fiasco
I bought a round-trip flight from Ankara to Belgrade on November 6, 2023. Even though I purchased the ticket on Skyscanner, the payment took me to the ticket.com.tr website. I trusted Skyscanner's reputation, so I went ahead with the transaction and made the purchase.
On December 5th, I found out that my outbound ticket was canceled when I tried to confirm my booking on the THY ticket control page. ticket.com.tr didn't inform me about the cancellation; I only discovered it by checking on my own.
Between December 5th and December 12th, I reached out via email and phone to ticket.com.tr customer service regarding my ticket change, but unfortunately, I did not receive any assistance. Actually, I got some pretty rough feedback from the call center reps. It was you who eventually helped with the change request.
Basically, I had a lot of problems with the ticket I bought from Skyscanner, and I couldn't get it resolved from the time I bought it. I relied on Skyscanner as a well-known company, but when issues arose, I couldn't find a solution. Starting now, I won't purchase my tickets from this company anymore.
