On April 3, 2026, I took delivery of my brand-new 2026 Skoda Octavia Premium 1.5 TSI MHEV 150 PS DSG, with VIN TMBAR8NX8TM0456**, from Acemoğlu Otomotiv in Şanlıurfa. The very next day, on April 4, 2026, I brought the vehicle to a professional auto inspection company for a detailed evaluation. During the inspection, it was discovered that an adjustment had been made at the factory to one of the bolts on the right front fender.
Following this finding, I contacted the Skoda Customer Care Center and was directed to the authorized Skoda Açıkkapı service center in Elazığ, where I reside. After their inspection, the authorized service issued a general statement indicating that this type of factory adjustment could occur and that similar cases are seen in many vehicles. However, this document did not include any vehicle-specific details or even my VIN number.
I specifically requested a detailed and official written statement confirming that a factory adjustment was made to the right front fender bolt of my vehicle, clearly including my VIN and full vehicle details. I believe this documentation is essential to prevent this issue from being interpreted as a defect when I decide to sell the car in the future.
Despite my request, Yüce Auto Türkiye refused to provide a customized, vehicle-specific document and instead insisted on using only generic statements. I have all relevant documents, including the inspection report and authorized service records, and I can provide them if needed.
I am requesting an official, clear, and vehicle-specific written statement confirming the factory adjustment, including my VIN and full vehicle details. If such a document cannot be provided, I would like to formally request a return of the vehicle.
