Skechers GO Walk Max Cushioning Arch Fit Heel Deformed In 3 Months

I am a long-time Skechers customer and a Gold member. On September 24, 2025, I purchased the “GO Walk Max Cushioning Arch Fit Jonah” shoes (code 216354 BBK, size 44) via the Skechers mobile application for ₺6,799, and the product was delivered to me in Bursa, Turkey on September 25, 2025. The shoes were used only for normal daily activities. However, in less than three months of use, the inner rear heel areas of both shoes became severely deformed and eventually unusable. This problem is not related to the sole and, in my opinion, cannot be regarded as normal wear and tear in such a short period for a product of this type and price. The product has decorative laces, and in this kind of design, possible durability issues in the heel area should be foreseen and addressed by the brand’s R&D and design teams, not left as a risk to the consumer. I submitted a refund request under number 1-546501. This request was rejected based solely on photographs, without any physical inspection of the product. I was later informed by a company named Olka that no manufacturing defect had been found. Following this, I received the message: “Dear Valued Customer, We regret to inform you that no manufacturing-related defect was found in the product reviewed under request number 1-546501. Therefore, we are unable to provide a positive response to your request. B002.” According to consumer law, defects that occur within the first six months are presumed not to be caused by the consumer. Despite this legal presumption and the short usage period, my complaint and refund request were rejected without a thorough and fair examination. I therefore request that my shoes be properly re-evaluated as defective and that a full refund of the ₺6,799 I paid be issued.
