Overcharging and Insurance Conflicts with Sixt and Flizzr Rental Cars


I'm writing to report multiple issues I’ve experienced with Sixt and Flizzr Car Rentals. Initially, I rented an automatic car from Flizzr through the Sixt website, but the car provided didn't meet my needs. On the second attempt, the car was switched from automatic to manual. I paid an additional fee for the manual vehicle, but they charged me €350 extra, even though the difference should have been around €25 per day, totaling €250 for 7 days.
Later, my car’s bumper got scratched, so I purchased insurance through your site to cover damage and collisions. Despite this, I was charged approximately €1,286 for the damage. This situation has left me seriously dissatisfied and wondering if the insurance I bought is valid at all. Is there any chance of a refund?
Additionally, I’ve noticed that car rental companies in Croatia have different policies and do not accept the full insurance provided on your site. We were supposed to pick up the car at 10:00 AM, but the staff was not available until 11:00 AM and told us to return it by 5:00 PM. Despite these delays, we were still charged for the full day. It feels like our money has been completely wasted, and I am seeking your assistance in resolving these issues. Can you please clarify the insurance coverage and address these overcharges?
