Delayed Refund for Canceled Sixt Car Reservation
On November 3, 2024, I made a reservation through the Sixt app. On November 5, 2024, I went to the sales office at Gaziantep Airport to pick up the car. The staff requested access to my Findeks report, which I declined. As a result, they insisted on placing a ₺15,000 hold on three separate credit cards. Since I don’t have three credit cards from different banks, I had to cancel my reservation.
The airport staff assured me the payment would be refunded within two weeks. I also confirmed this timeline when I called 0850 2222 000. However, three weeks have passed, and I have yet to receive my refund. How much longer do I need to wait for Sixt to process my refund? This delay is unacceptable, and I demand immediate action.
