Shein Failed to Refund $12 After Canceling My Order
On January 12, at around 6:00 PM, I attempted to place an order on Shein using my Ziraat Bank card. I received a card error three times, but on the fourth attempt the payment went through and my order with number GSO1TE57F000HP6 was created.
Later that same day, around 10:10 PM, I received a notification stating that this order had been canceled, reportedly due to a card error.
The following day, I placed a new order using my Bonus card, with order number GSO1TE24F0023GB. However, the $12 that was charged to my Ziraat Bank card for the first order was not refunded.
Because of this, I contacted Shein by email and opened a support request. However, just a few minutes later, when I checked again, I saw that both my support ticket and my first order number had been completely removed from the system. Currently, in the “My Orders” section of my account, the first order does not appear at all, as if it was never placed.
When I spoke with customer service, I was only told that the payment had not reached them, and no clear explanation or solution was provided.
Due to urgent need, I had to repurchase the same items using my Garanti Bonus card, yet the $12 charged to my Ziraat Bank card was still not refunded. I also contacted my bank, and they confirmed that no refund transaction is visible.
I live in Bursa, and this situation has caused me both financial loss and wasted time. I am requesting that the $12 payment charged to my Ziraat Bank card for the canceled order number GSO1TE57F000HP6 be refunded to me as soon as possible.
