I Paid ₺2200 for Seresto Flea Collar at Vet but It’s ₺900 on Box—Why the Huge Markup?

Hello, I have a serious concern and I’m hoping someone can clarify this. I recently bought a Seresto Flea and Tick Collar for my cat at a veterinary clinic and was charged a whopping ₺2200. At the time, I assumed that was the normal retail price from a vet. However, after examining the packaging more closely at home, I noticed that the back of the box listed the price as ₺900.
To add to the confusion, I checked online and found the exact same product selling for around ₺1400 on platforms like Trendyol. This raises serious questions: Is it even legal for veterinary clinics to charge double the labeled retail price? I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of, especially considering the steep difference in price.
What’s worse, after reading through several user complaints, I’m now questioning the product’s quality too. It seems that many customers have experienced reduced effectiveness with the collars recently. This entire experience has left me with deep doubts about both the vet’s ethics and the product’s reliability.
I’m calling on Seresto and relevant authorities to address this issue. Why is there such a price discrepancy? And how can consumers be protected from unfair markups in essential pet care products? A clear answer—and a refund—would be appreciated.
