Sephora Denied My Free Gift Due to a Discount and Customer Service Was Unhelpful
With the promise of a free gift with a particular amount spent, Sephora enticed me into purchasing a few products. My total came out just short of the necessary level, though, because a discount was applied automatically during checkout. Therefore, the promised gift never made it to me. There was no obvious warning when you were checking out, unlike other reliable sites, and their customer support has been ineffective in fixing the problem. Customer service has drastically decreased ever since the company's leadership changed. This has made me a very unhappy customer who will never shop with them again, either online or in-store.
