I Face Missing Gift Items After My Sephora Online Order Was Placed

On 8 December 2025, I placed an online order from Sephora with the order number 8005067174. At the time of purchase, several gift items were automatically added to my cart, and I completed the payment with the clear expectation that these gifts would be included in my shipment.
However, after the payment was processed, these gift products were removed from my cart without any notification or explanation, and they were not shipped to me. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the items were out of stock.
I find it unacceptable to be informed of a stock issue only after the payment has been taken, especially when the website allowed me to add supposedly out-of-stock gift items to my cart in the first place. I specifically completed this purchase because of the promotional gifts, and I feel misled and disadvantaged by their removal after payment, along with the lack of transparent communication.
I request that this issue be resolved by sending me the promised gift products or providing an equivalent solution that fairly compensates for the missing items.
