On August 26, 2025, I purchased Sensodyne Rapid Relief toothpaste from a Gratis store on the recommendation of my dentist. Since I have laminates and braces on my back teeth, my doctor specifically suggested this product because it contains fluoride and does not include whitening agents. Even though the price was ₺300, I bought it immediately and began using it regularly.
However, after about three days of use, I developed numerous and widespread mouth ulcers (canker sores). I had experienced a similar issue the last time I used this same product, and once again I suffered the same reaction. I did not use any other products (such as mouthwash or rinses) during this period.
It is known among doctors that such complaints exist, yet this product is still being recommended. I don’t understand why the formula hasn’t been changed despite these issues. Human health should not be ignored this easily. I request that the product’s formula be reviewed and improved to make it safer. I also believe dentists should reconsider recommending this product until it is proven safe.
