Sebamed Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo Caused Severe Facial Redness

June 18 6:35 PM

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on June 18, I used Sebamed Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo for the first time. Shortly after using it, the areas of my face that came into contact with the shampoo developed severe redness. My right cheek, forehead, and nose became bright red within a very short time. Although I experienced no problems on my scalp, the reaction occurred only on the areas of my face that came into contact with the shampoo, which I do not consider acceptable. I purchased the product from a Watsons store. Unfortunately, I later threw away the packaging, so I no longer have access to the lot number or expiration date.

The first time I used the shampoo a few days earlier, I mistakenly assumed the redness was caused by sun exposure. However, after experiencing the exact same reaction again within minutes of using the product, I believe the shampoo is responsible. I also searched online and found many complaints from other users, including photos showing very similar reactions. Given the number of similar reports, I question whether the product has been adequately investigated.

I have trusted Sebamed products for years, so this experience was extremely disappointing. Many people choose this brand because they believe it is safe enough even for babies, which makes this issue even more concerning. I request a clear explanation regarding my experience, a thorough investigation of the product through appropriate testing and quality reviews, and any necessary measures to help prevent other consumers from experiencing the same reaction.
