I've been taking my 2013 Seat Leon to the authorized Seat service center since the day I bought it. I most recently visited Hasan Kavi, the authorized service in Mersin, on July 7, 2023. I requested a routine maintenance check and addressed the problem with the malfunction indicator lamp, which was causing the car's performance to suffer significantly. I was hoping for a solution to the problem. They completed the scheduled maintenance on my vehicle for a fee of 10,900 TL. Concerning the malfunction, they simply advised me to drive the car at high RPM when the lamp appeared, claiming that this would resolve the problem. However, there was no improvement when I tested it on a long trip. When I called the service center, they told me that diagnosing the problem would cost an extra 2,500 TL because my car was over 10 years old. Seat appears to be losing its commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty over time. They are now contacting me about Takata brand airbags, insisting that they be replaced. I've given up on Seat and have no plans to visit their service center for any reason, including routine maintenance.
