Peugeot 2008 Endless Engine Troubles and Expensive Fixes
My car, a 2020 model Peugeot 2008 with 74,000 km, experienced a timing belt failure, so I took it to the service center. They replaced the timing belt set, but after driving only 200 km, the oil lamp lit up. I took it back to the service center for an oil top-up and to address an oil leak and engine malfunction warning. They performed the necessary interventions based on the error code. I paid 6,800 TL for the repairs, but soon after, the engine malfunction warning reappeared. I took it back, but the issue persisted. Today, they suggested replacing the cylinder head and even the entire engine. My intention in bringing my car to the service center was to have the specific issue resolved without unnecessary expenses. Each visit to the service center results in my car being kept there, leaving me without transportation. I am disappointed with Peugeot's service.
