Scribd Tried to Charge Me Without an Account or My Consent

I don’t even have an account with Scribd, yet I recently noticed that a charge attempt was made from my bank account by this service. This is outrageous. I never signed up, never gave permission, and never even downloaded the app. How can a company process payments without a user’s clear authorization?

This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about data privacy and security. I want immediate confirmation that this charge has been canceled and that my personal information is not being stored or misused.
