My Samsung WD90K6410OS/AS washing machine is covered by an extended warranty until 2025. I noticed water leaking from the gasket of the second small door and reported it to service, who claimed it was a user error without inspecting the problem and said it would be a paid replacement. Refusing to accept this, they demanded photographs and stated that they would consult with headquarters. After sending the photos and speaking with customer service, I complained about the service, claiming that it was a user error and demanding payment.

Customer service seemed to agree, claiming it was due to user error. However, I disagreed because the gasket of this small door cannot tear or come off during normal use. I wondered why the service didn't inspect it in person and how they could make such decisions from a distance. They assured me that they would consult with higher-ups, and when they returned, they informed me that, despite the fact that the law required the provision of spare parts for ten years, the gasket couldn't be found, and the entire door needed to be replaced. They considered this a user error and charged 3800 TL after a 30% discount from the original 5000 TL.

I expressed my confusion about why the entire door needed to be replaced rather than just the gasket and why spare parts were unavailable. They refused to acknowledge the gasket's wear and tear due to water contact, despite explaining that it couldn't happen during normal use and would be visible upon inspection. I condemn Samsung for failing to keep promises made during the extended warranty sale and for reverting to user error accusations without addressing the problem. How can I ever trust a global brand again? I am writing to ask for your assistance in this matter.

We have been talking to the company officials for about 8 days regarding the Samsung washing machine, about which I reported my complaint through this platform, but they still haven't even bothered to send a service technician to my home. Instead, they mockingly increased the repair cost of the guaranteed product, which they initially quoted as 3800 TL, to 4400 TL, and then reduced it to 3300 TL the next day, all under the guise of user error. Despite the obvious fact that this is not a user error and that the product could be repaired with just a gasket replacement, and despite my repeated reminders that, according to Turkish commercial law, they are required to provide parts for a product manufactured for 10 years, they insist on changing the entire door and charging me for it. As a consumer, I condemn this practice. I hereby inform you that I will seek my rights through legal means and take all necessary legal actions. I will prove with an expert that this is not a user error and demand compensation for their failure to supply spare parts for the machine for 10 years.
