I Faced a Torn Seal Problem in My Samsung WW90T4020CE Washer Within the First Year

I bought a brand-new Samsung WW90T4020CE 9 kg washing machine, and less than a year later, the rubber door gasket tore—which should never happen with such a new appliance. When I contacted customer service, they told me that torn gaskets aren't covered under warranty and blamed it on “user error,” suggesting a zipper might have caused the tear. They quoted ₺3,640 for a replacement.
This is beyond frustrating. We load clothes, the machine washes—it’s not like we’re reaching in and tearing it ourselves. I previously used a different brand for 8 years and never had such an issue. This kind of durability failure in less than 12 months is unacceptable. It clearly points to poor material quality or a design flaw, and Samsung refuses to take accountability.
Now I’m being forced to look for a cheaper repair option elsewhere, because the official service cost is absurd. This experience has completely shattered my trust in Samsung. I expected better support and durability from a globally trusted brand. I will never purchase Samsung home appliances again and strongly urge others to think twice before doing so. At the very least, Samsung should stand behind their products and cover defects like this under warranty.
