Samsung TV Keeps Resetting Satellite Settings and No Permanent Solution Provided
For about a year and a half, I have been patiently resetting the satellite settings of Samsung TV every two days, sometimes even twice a day—morning and evening—or each time I turn the TV off and back on. I have memorized the steps and follow them in order. (When I’m not home, my family members can’t even turn on the TV and have to sit on a chair in the kitchen to watch something on a small TV there. I believe this situation ruins Samsung’s brand value. This hasn’t happened just once but countless times over the past 15 months.) The steps are: Menu > Broadcast > Expert Settings > Satellite System > Enter PIN > LNB Settings > DiSEqC Mode > 1/4 > Signal Quality Check (wait until it reaches 55%) > Exit. After this, the TV works again. No Samsung technician has been able to solve this problem, and it’s disgraceful! It has completely shattered my opinion of Samsung. They need to provide a solution that not only fixes the issue permanently but also compensates for the ordeal we've endured over the past 1.5 years. They should offer free in-home service and restore my trust in the brand. Complaints I have made in the past regarding this issue can be reviewed. I have reached the limit of my patience.
Dear Customer, Thank you for reaching out to us. We kindly ask you to provide us with your name, surname, and contact information so that our solution center can get in touch with you. Sincerely, Samsung Electronics Turkey
They did not call me from Samsung. Let this be noted here.
I had requested to be called by Samsung by 8. I was called at 7:50. Additionally, the gentleman who assisted me, although within the bounds of politeness, spoke as if to emphasize that he was outside of working hours. Very wrong. Honestly, I couldn't care less what time his working hours end. If necessary, I can keep him waiting on that phone for an hour. If he experienced the problem I've been dealing with almost every day for a year and a half, I wonder how he would react. You are flawed in every way, from your employee to your product.
This photo is from Saturday, February 1, 2025. Halk TV is not working. It says this service is unavailable, for example. I will really show these archived step-by-step complaints of mine to anyone around me who praises Samsung.
