Samsung Members Deleted My Galaxy Watch 8 Review After Casio Comparison

November 8, 2025 8:42 PM14

On November 8, 2025, I shared a post on Samsung’s official community platform, the “Members” app, stating that I had returned my Galaxy Watch 8 (44 mm), which I previously purchased from the Samsung Online Store, due to dissatisfaction for several reasons. In my post, I mentioned that I believed Samsung had not made progress in battery technology for its smartwatches and that I had instead purchased a premium Casio watch from Japan. My intention was simply to share my experience and opinions with other forum members and engage in discussion. However, my post was deleted about 10 minutes later by a moderator named “turuncu” in the Samsung Members app, in a manner that I found disrespectful and without my consent. The stated reason for deletion was that I had returned the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (44 mm) and bought a Casio watch instead. This made me feel that my freedom of expression was being restricted. I wonder if the purpose of the Members app is only to praise the brand, or if users are also allowed to share criticism and complaints freely. My username is k***, and my email address is k****@gmail.com. Although I submitted feedback about this issue through the app, I have not received any response yet. I request that my post be reinstated, that appropriate action be taken against the moderator, and that an official written apology be issued to me.
