I Keep Getting Audio Cutouts on My Samsung A54—Still No Fix After Speaker Replacement
My Samsung A54 phone is still under warranty, and in July 2024, I had the speaker replaced at Samsun Bayrak Technical Service. After that so-called “repair,” I started experiencing major sound distortion and audio cutouts during WhatsApp video calls. I took the phone back to the service center, but they returned it the same day claiming “no problem found.”
Not accepting that, I recorded a video of the issue using another device and brought it back. This time, they finally opened a service ticket. But here’s where things got even more frustrating: after 8–9 days, they acknowledged the problem—but told me they couldn’t take further action until they heard back from Samsung’s headquarters in Korea. I was informed the response from Korea could take a month or even three months!
This is unacceptable. I paid for a device with a Turkey-based warranty. I shouldn’t have to wait months for a response from another country. My legal right as a consumer is to have a resolution within 30 business days, and I expect Samsung to respect that.
We would like to thank Mr. Cihan, the authorized person, very much for following up on our product through social media and sikayetvar, assisting us in every matter, and resolving our issue by refunding the invoice amount, which made us satisfied.
