In May 2023, I purchased Samsung's 65QN 700B 8K model TV. When buying a product, especially such a crucial one, you research and choose a brand you trust. However, in December, a static noise started coming from the TV even when it was turned off, audible even from across the room. I contacted the service, and they replaced the TV's box unit, but the issue persisted. They suggested taking it to the service center, where they informed me that the motherboard needed replacement. After waiting for the part, I expressed my refusal to accept such a repair and requested a replacement, stating that the investigation was ongoing.
The next day, they returned the TV, claiming to have changed the graphics card. Unfortunately, the noise persisted. They consulted the headquarters, asserting that the sound was considered normal, and if I disagreed, I was advised to appeal to the Arbitration Board. This level of carelessness from a company of this stature was unexpected. After identifying the problem and taking action, it's disheartening to be told that such a noise is normal, and there's nothing more to be done.
