Samsung 50UE8000 TV Screen Failed - Repair Cost Too High

13

Before the warranty expired, a scratch appeared on the screen within a very short time. We sent it in for repair, and they said there was a “pixel defect.” It was supposedly fixed and returned to us. However, before even four years had passed, the TV screen completely stopped working despite having no visible damage. When we took it to the service center, they said the panel was faulty and that this defect was common in this entire series. They demanded a repair fee of ₺14,000, which is more than what the TV is worth. We have always used the television with a surge-protected outlet and taken great care of it, yet we’re left with a broken device. Since the warranty has expired, there’s nothing we can do. I’m calling out to the relevant authorities and Samsung representatives — we buy your products trusting the Samsung brand name. When such serious issues occur, please stand behind your products. We don’t earn our money easily, so please help.
