My Samsung S25 Plus Has Poor Signal After Updates and AI Features Don’t Work

I purchased the Samsung S25 Plus, expecting flagship performance from a phone that costs nearly ₺60,000. Instead, I’ve been dealing with constant signal problems that have only gotten worse after every system update. Places where I used to have full reception now show “emergency calls only”, making the phone unreliable for even the most basic function—making calls.

I’m beginning to question whether these software updates are intentionally degrading performance. For a company as massive as Samsung, this is beyond disappointing. My previous Huawei P30 Pro had far better signal reception and never gave me such issues.

On top of that, AI-based photo features like portrait sketch mode no longer work. I’ve sent screenshots showing the issue—yet nothing has been resolved. If I had known the phone would perform this poorly, I never would’ve bought it.

I demand that Samsung urgently fix these software and network issues. If not, take the phone back and issue a refund or replacement. I didn’t spend this much money to end up with a device that can’t even handle a simple phone call. Do better, Samsung.

Hello, I bought a Samsung S25 Plus from Media Markt during Mother's Day week in 2025. I just noticed something on the phone: when I insert my line into the SIM1 slot, it asks for a PIN code as if it's SIM2. When I insert it into SIM2, the screen shows my SIM card PIN code as if I inserted it into SIM2, but in the network settings, it shows as SIM1. In the SIM manager, the mobile data of the line I inserted into SIM2 cannot be SIM1, and the line I inserted into SIM1 cannot be SIM2. The SIM card slots are different, and the SIM cards I insert do not match what is shown in the slots. Is this why I've been having network problems since I bought this phone? I request a quick replacement of my phone. Even when I put the phone in airplane mode, it is slow. When I change my location, the signal strength on the home screen does not update immediately. It looks like it has no signal. As I said, for 60,000 TL, I could have bought the latest Apple phone. Now I regret buying this. I never had any of these problems with my Huawei P30 Pro. It shouldn't be this low quality.

"Yesterday, I spoke with Ms. E*** from the Solution Center. I would like to thank her very much for showing the necessary attention. She explained that since the device was formatted during the software update, the battery usage data was not visible, and that I should take the device from the service, use it for a few days, and then bring it back to the service. I accepted this. A short while ago, I visited the MTA Elektronik Incirli Service to pick up my device. After waiting in line for a short time, they called my name. When I went to receive my device, I was shocked to see that, even though they knew I absolutely did not want any repairs, they had removed the screen protector worth 600 TL from my phone. My blood pressure shot up, and I became suspicious. After examining the phone a bit more, I noticed a dent the size of a fingernail on the lower right corner. Your authorized Samsung services are completely disgraceful—I am stating this clearly and openly. I had to take the device because I was in a hurry, but this is unacceptable, Dear Samsung Officials. On top of that, you say you tested the device and found no issues. When I received it, the battery was at 38%. I installed 2 applications and made 1 call, and now it is at 30%. Is this the device you say has no problems? Shame on you, really shame on you."
