I bought a Samsung 65QN700B TV two years ago. At the time of purchase, I was told it came with a promotional offer and that the warranty would be extended beyond the standard 2 years. We had it installed and began using it without issue—until a strange electronic humming noise started coming from the back of the device. I asked a staff member at Vatan Bilgisayar about it, and they said it was normal, so I continued using the TV.
A few months later, I noticed dark patches appearing on the screen. I assumed it was just dust and tried cleaning it with a screen-safe solution, only to realize the problem wasn’t external—the issue was coming from inside the panel. I contacted Samsung support, and a technician came out. He confirmed it was a panel fault, not caused by user error. But since the warranty had just expired, they refused to cover the repair and quoted me ₺47,960 for the panel replacement. On top of that, I already paid ₺750 for the technician visit.
This is completely unacceptable. I’ve bought several Samsung products for my home and even recommended them to friends and family. My home is heated with radiators—not a dusty or humid environment—so I reject the idea that this is anything other than a manufacturing defect.
