I Got Screen Darkening on My Samsung 65QN700B TV

I bought a Samsung 65QN700B TV two years ago. At the time of purchase, I was told it came with a promotional offer and that the warranty would be extended beyond the standard 2 years. We had it installed and began using it without issue—until a strange electronic humming noise started coming from the back of the device. I asked a staff member at Vatan Bilgisayar about it, and they said it was normal, so I continued using the TV.

A few months later, I noticed dark patches appearing on the screen. I assumed it was just dust and tried cleaning it with a screen-safe solution, only to realize the problem wasn’t external—the issue was coming from inside the panel. I contacted Samsung support, and a technician came out. He confirmed it was a panel fault, not caused by user error. But since the warranty had just expired, they refused to cover the repair and quoted me ₺47,960 for the panel replacement. On top of that, I already paid ₺750 for the technician visit.

This is completely unacceptable. I’ve bought several Samsung products for my home and even recommended them to friends and family. My home is heated with radiators—not a dusty or humid environment—so I reject the idea that this is anything other than a manufacturing defect.

We bought a Samsung 65QN700B TV through Vatan Bilgisayar. When purchasing, they told us that the product had an additional 3-year warranty due to a promotion. When we had the TV installed, there was a buzzing sound coming from the box the device was connected to. When we asked the service, they said it was normal for an electronic device and dismissed it. After a while, while using the device, we noticed spots on the white screen and thought it was dust, so we didn't pay much attention. When we wiped and cleaned the screen, we realized that unfortunately, the dust was inside the panel. We immediately contacted customer service to open a service request. The service that came said the device's warranty had just expired, there was a gap in the case, this could be a manufacturing defect, and that the dusting could not be repaired, but if we wished, they could replace the panel for 47,960 TL. We did not accept this and paid the 750 TL service fee and sent it back. We were called by Samsung about the issue and they said they would offer a discount on the 47,960 TL price. We did not accept this due to the manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, now the device does not turn on at all. The red screen flashes at 10-second intervals and then turns off. In short, while I used to recommend Samsung for all electronic devices to my friends and myself, I will no longer consider it due to this bad experience. How did a top-level Samsung TV become useless in 2 years? Solve my problem or I will seek my rights through legal means.

The TV does not turn on at all right now. When we researched on Şikayetvar, we read that many users experienced panel failures and their TVs shut down right after the 2-year warranty ended. It is not appropriate for a big company like Samsung to sell TVs with chronic issues. We, along with other users, expect a solution regarding this matter.

There is still no solution to my problem, it's a shame for a company like Samsung.
