Samsung S22 Ultra Became Unusable After One UI 7 Update

After installing the One UI 7 (Android 15) update, my Samsung S22 Ultra has become completely unusable. The device constantly crashes and freezes — the camera, gallery, keyboard, internet, QR code scanner, banking apps, and Wi-Fi have all stopped working. The phone reacts to my taps with a 30-second delay, making even the simplest task impossible. The One UI 8 (Android 16) update made things even worse — now the phone is completely nonfunctional. I’ve lost countless hours and days trying to deal with these issues, couldn’t get my work done, and have been seriously inconvenienced. I’ve had to rely on a backup device just to continue my daily tasks.

When I contacted Samsung customer service, they simply told me to perform a factory reset and restore the device to its original settings. My warranty expired a year ago, but it’s unacceptable for such a flagship phone to suffer this level of failure after an official software update. My trust in Samsung has been completely shattered. I purchased the device from the Samsung Shop.

After all this frustration, I’ve decided I will never buy another Samsung product again. I plan to factory reset and sell this device because I no longer believe Samsung can deliver a stable or reliable experience.
