I Report That Samsung Service Installed a Faulty Battery
On July 26, 2025, I had my phone battery replaced for a fee at the Samsung Kadıköy service center under work order number 4287469310. However, the new battery turned out to be faulty—it lasts only about one hour longer than my old defective battery. With the replaced battery, I get just 3 hours of screen time, and the battery drains completely within 4–5 hours. Exactly one week later, today, I returned to the Kadıköy Samsung service center to explain the issue and requested a replacement with a different battery. They told me I would have to back up my phone, leave it at the service center, wait an unspecified number of days for inspection, and pay a ₺1500 deposit for a temporary phone. Why should I leave my phone and be left without it for days because of a faulty battery you installed? When I had the battery replaced a week ago, they handed it back in an hour and a half without asking for a backup. This is clearly a mistake caused by your service, and I am filing a complaint. I urgently request that the service be contacted and that the faulty battery be replaced with a different one and returned to me on the same day. About two years ago, I had a similar problem at this service center with another phone—it went in for repairs six times, while another service fixed it in one go. I will never use this service again, and I’m certain that if I leave my phone, they will simply return it a week later saying no fault was found. I kindly urge you to immediately contact this service and replace the faulty battery with a functional one.
