Rocket League Unfair Matchmaking in Competitive 2v2 and 1v1 Modes

I play Rocket League on PC, and for the past 2–4 months I have been constantly facing unfair matchmaking in competitive 2v2 and 1v1 modes.

In 2v2, while I was ranked Diamond II, my teammates were often much lower ranked and performed poorly. Meanwhile, the opposing teams consistently had higher-ranked, more skilled players, which made the matches completely unbalanced. Because of this, my rank dropped all the way down to Platinum.

In 1v1, I am frequently matched against players who either have no visible rank or who are listed as Platinum but play at a much higher level, making the competition extremely frustrating.

It feels like the system continuously gives an advantage to my opponents while placing me in unfair situations, which ruins the fun and competitiveness of the game.

I demand that Rocket League’s matchmaking system be reviewed and adjusted to ensure fairness and transparency. Players should not be penalized with unfair matches that push their ranks down despite their skill level. This ongoing problem has made me feel extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the game experience.
