My Valorant account under the Riot Games username r* was stolen approximately four years ago, and my account security was compromised. Despite having strong evidence proving that I am the original and rightful owner of the account, it has not been returned to me.
I have in-game screenshots from 2020 showing that the account has belonged to me since its creation, social media archive records, original invoices for the first purchases made on the account, and bank payment receipts. Despite this, the Riot Games Support team refuses to return the account, stating that “other individuals have also provided information.” Since my account was stolen, it is natural that some account details may have fallen into the hands of third parties; however, the fact that the original invoices and payment receipts exist only in my possession clearly demonstrates that I am the true owner of the account.
I recently contacted the Riot Games Support team again, but no satisfactory solution was provided. I then submitted an official application to the İzmir Consumer Arbitration Committee, and my case file was opened. Following this, the Riot Support team completely stopped communicating with me, citing the existence of a “legal process,” and refused to conduct any further review of my case.
My goal is not to prolong or complicate the legal process, but to recover my account by proving that I am the rightful owner through clear and concrete evidence. For this reason, I request that all records related to my account and the documents I submitted be reviewed again thoroughly by your legal department or an authorized manager. I would also like to clearly state that if the necessary review is conducted and my account is returned to me, I will immediately withdraw my complaint filed with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
I expect Riot Games to urgently resolve this issue by respecting my ownership rights in light of the invoices, bank receipts, and historical records I have provided.
