Resumaker.ai Recurring Charge Despite No Active Subscription

I used the standard CV builder service on Resumaker.ai under the name Sanjeewa H*** and the email address sangj***@icloud.com. I made what I understood to be a one-time payment on 24 April 2026. However, on 3 July 2026, a second payment was deducted from my account, even though I did not knowingly approve or intend to purchase any recurring subscription. When I logged into my Resumaker.ai account to cancel any possible subscription, the system displayed the message “This account has no active subscription,” so I could not cancel anything from within the site. I also contacted my bank about this unexpected charge. Despite that, the second amount was already debited. I request a refund of the amount deducted on 3 July 2026 and confirmation that no further charges will be made to my card linked to this Resumaker.ai account.
